Lisa Collingsworth

*Owner/interior designer*

Interior Design is storytelling at its best.
In every project, I want the client to tell *their* story: This is who we are, what we do, and what we love. Finding the right craftsmen, artists, and objects to help tell the story is what makes me fall in love with design over and over again.
I was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. I was led to interior design through fine art and the late interior designer Carol Copple. I studied both fine art and interior design at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and Lincoln. I worked for several interior designers before starting my own firm in 2014.
Today, I am the proud leader of some amazing people! Drawing Room Interiors looks forward to being a part of your projects!

Angela Mitchell
Interior Designer

I grew up in Council Bluffs, Iowa and graduated with a BFA in Interior Design from Iowa State University. My love for design began in my high school Spanish class, where I studied Spanish architecture. I have experience with both commercial and residential design. At Drawing Room Interiors I draft floor plans and elevations, material selections, and document client selections. I love design because it's so personal; it's really about solving a problem for an individual. There isn't a one size fits all solution.

In my free time I enjoy painting and spending time with my family.

Faith Sleep
Junior Designer

I am from Bedford, Iowa and a 2022 graduate from the University of Northern Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in interior design, accompanied by a minor in real estate and certificate of sustainability. As junior designer, I assist the lead designer with drafting and 3D renderings as well as helping manage communication, organization, and selections for clients. I also have started managing DRI's social media! My favorite thing about my job is bringing a project to life with drafting and renders. I love using Revit to help clients get a better idea of what their space will look like.

In my free time, I like to travel with my family, try new restaurants with my fiancé, and read fantasy novels.

Paige Johnson
Studio Manager/Graphic Designer

I grew up in Omaha and graduated from MCC with a degree in Design, Interactivity, and Media Arts-Graphic Design. While working at Drawing Room Interiors I have done a rebrand along with a new website. I currently help with coordinating purchases between the clients and vendors along with mood boards to help clients envision what their project will look like from start to finish . I also love incorporating fabric, wall covering, and accessories into clients projects. Design is truly my passion and I love to help companies continue to grow with their design in mind.

When I’m not working I enjoy traveling, swimming, and spending time with my family and cats.
